Ford of Arlington is seeking to recruit experienced, skilled, and enthusiastic Service Advisors to join our rapidly expanding Service Center. The Service Advisor is the frontline of the Service Department who assists customers with understanding their vehicle's maintenance and repair options and provide an estimate of cost before they are scheduled with the Technician.

Customer Interaction and Business Operations:
- Advise and explain costs of vehicle maintenance and repairs to service customers. The Service Advisor will address inquiries and concerns and find a resolution for customer satisfaction.
- Manage and update customer vehicle records, create invoices, process payments, and validate warranty information. The Service Advisor must update the database and offer accurate billing options to the customer.
- Promote additional services and products. The Service Advisor will have sales generation objectives and contribute to the Service Departments revenue goals.
Service Planning and Coordination:
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians. The Service Advisor will prepare the Repair Orders, including descriptions of problems, required repairs, and cost estimates.
- Verify customer's auto insurance and set up loaner vehicles when necessary. The Service Advisor will collaborate with the Rental Agent for alternative transportation during the service of the vehicle.
- Provide progress reports to the customer throughout the service process. The Service Advisor will constantly communicate with the customers concerning the timeline of completion.
Employee Prerequisites:
- Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
- Stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time without resting. (Up to 5 hours)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Capability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, communicate effectively with employees, managers, and customers.
- Previous experience is REQUIRED.
