Woods Chapel Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Convention congregation in Arlington, Texas. We are in search of a man to fill the position of Family Pastor with a focus on reaching and discipling young families in our community. A brief description of our church and its ministries can be found . We ascribe to the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).
Woods Chapel stands on Scripture and is composed of a strong fellowship of believers who love the Lord and have a heart for missions. Our current pastor has served since 2011, and our Associate Pastor of Education and Music has served since 1993. Our worship center has a capacity of approximately 400, with current attendance averaging 180. Our education spaces are varied, with multiple buildings, including a new children’s and youth building completed in 2014.
In the last few years, we have experienced a decline in attendance of young families and a reduction in children and youth. We believe for the future of Woods Chapel and the souls of those in our community, that we must place additional focus on this demographic group.
