Heavy Equipment Diesel Instructor

Lincoln Tech is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Diesel Technicians in the DFW area who are ready to share their skills as Instructors in our Republic Services Custom Training program. This role will be responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction as well as motivating and providing support to prepare students for a career in the field successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare training materials, classroom, and workshop.
• Facilitate training activities based on learning objectives.
• Verify student competency of training objectives and identify students needing additional training.
• Facilitate training of additional skills outside training objectives (e.g., shop cleaning, training supplies care, organization, proper care of vehicles while not in use, tool organization).
• Use multiple forms of training tools:
  Direct, PowerPoint, online modules, student‑led review sessions, instructor‑led training.
• Ensure all training materials, aids, and equipment are in working order and returned to their proper location.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of Heavy Equipment Technician experience
• Komatsu or Caterpillar experience preferred
• ASE certification (current or expired)
• Effective communication skills
• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license
