Overview

Position GoalTo provide special education instruction and case management for students receiving services across both a substantially separate therapeutic classroom setting and inclusive general education classroom settings in alignment with the Arlington Public Schools curriculum and Massachusetts standards. This is a long-term substitute position.
Qualifications- Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a Teacher of Students with Moderate and/or Severe Disabilities
- Masters Degree in Special Education preferred
- Two or more years of successful teaching experience in Special Education preferred
- Experience working with students in therapeutic and inclusive settings preferred
Responsible for planning instruction and curriculum modifications for students with disabilities that allow students to meet high standards and experience success in both specialized and typical educational settings.
