Pay Range: $60.00/hr - $100.00/hr (Based on skill and experience)

Location: Remote candidates near Denso facilities within driving distance to Southfield, Michigan or Plano, Texas (travel to a Denso location every 4‑6 weeks; onsite first week)
Duration: 1‑year contract with extensions/possible conversion

Senior FPGA Engineer for a global manufacturing and supplier client specializing in high‑accuracy micro‑location technologies.

• Architect and implement FPGA‑based solutions to support real‑time, high‑accuracy micro‑location systems.
• Incorporate advanced DSP and IQ radio processing algorithms that enable centimeter‑level precision in dynamic environments.
• Streamline FPGA resource usage for high‑speed interfaces and precision timing applications.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams—hardware, software, RF, and product design—to explore new approaches for micro‑location accuracy and robustness.
• Investigate emerging technologies and industry trends in signal processing, radio interfaces, and localization methods.
• Rapidly prototype cutting‑edge concepts and translate them into viable, production‑ready solutions.

Must Haves:

• At least 8+ years of experience with FPGA’s (Verilog shop)
• Experience creating code from scratch
• Strong knowledge of Verilog and VHDL with the ability to program into FPGA

Plusses:

• Experience translating MATLAB code to FPGA
• Background with algorithms
