About the Role

The Technical Solutions Engineer is a hands‑on engineering role focused on helping customers successfully design, implement, and operate real industrial automation systems using CIMON products. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, real‑world applications, and customer collaboration.

This is not a call‑center or scripted support role
. You will work directly with engineers, OEMs, and system integrators to solve real technical problems, build example projects, validate system designs, and help customers deploy CIMON solutions in production environments.

An engineering background is required, along with comfort working across hardware, software, and industrial networks.

What You’ll Work On Product Mastery and Continuous Learning
  • Develop deep, hands‑on knowledge of CIMON’s product portfolio, including HMIs, PLCs, SCADA software, and industrial computing platforms
  • Stay current with firmware updates, software releases, and hardware revisions
  • Learn through direct work with customer systems, internal testing, and collaboration with engineering teams
  • Document technical findings and best practices to improve internal knowledge and support quality
Customer Solutions and Real‑World Applications
  • Work directly with customers to understand how CIMON products are used in real machines, processes, and facilities
  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot complete PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions
  • Debug communication, integration, and performance issues in real deployments
  • Build demo projects, reference applications, or proof‑of‑concept configurations to validate solutions
  • Own technical cases from initial investigation through resolution, guiding customers through complex challenges
Technical Problem Solving and Issue Resolution
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across CIMON’s ecosystem, including HMI, PLC, SCADA, and Industrial PC
  • Reproduce customer issues in lab or test environments to verify behavior and root causes
  • Differentiate between configuration issues, system design limitations, software defects, and hardware failures
  • Support customers through the RMA process when hardware issues are identified
  • Perform root‑cause analysis on recurring issues and contribute to long‑term improvements
Product Feedback and Engineering Insight
  • Gather field feedback from real customer applications
  • Analyze recurring requests and identify meaningful feature enhancements
  • Document customer use cases, technical constraints, and desired outcomes clearly
  • Submit structured feedback to product and development teams to influence product direction
Technical Communication and Global Collaboration
  • Collaborate with CIMON’s global engineering teams, including headquarters in Korea, on escalated technical issues and product behavior
  • Communicate clearly across time zones and cultures using precise technical language
  • Translate complex engineering concepts into understandable explanations for customers and internal teams
  • Participate in cross‑functional discussions related to product updates, releases, and support strategy
