An established MEP consulting and engineering firm is seeking a Supervising Mechanical Engineer to join their Dallas office. In this senior-level role, you’ll serve as the Engineer of Record on complex projects across sectors such as Healthcare, Mission Critical, Science + Technology, and Aviation. You’ll lead technical design, guide project teams, and ensure smooth coordination with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

What You Will Do:

• Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned mechanical projects
• Lead and supervise mechanical engineering staff and assign project responsibilities
• Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria
• Manage internal and external coordination meetings
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and support team mentorship
• Assist in technical training initiatives within the business unit
• Monitor project billing, invoices, and client receivables
• Support proposal writing, contract negotiations, and add service agreements
• Supervise the preparation of system analyses and building condition reports
• Actively contribute to firmwide technical excellence committees
• Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and team resourcing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Current PE license (required)
• 12+ years of mechanical engineering experience in an MEP consulting environment
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
• Extensive hands-on design experience using CAD and Revit (required)
• Strong background in Healthcare projects required; experience in Mission Critical, Commercial, or Aviation projects preferred
