Mechanical Engineer – Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)

We’re building next‑generation unmanned aircraft and aerospace systems that push the limits of autonomy, performance, and reliability. Our team tackles complex, real‑world challenges across defense, aviation, and space—and we’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer who thrives in fast‑moving, high‑impact environments.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for UAS, weapon systems, and aerospace vehicles (airframes, propulsion, control surfaces, landing gear, payloads)
  • Build and test prototypes through ground and flight testing
  • Perform structural, thermal, stress, fatigue, and failure analyses
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with electrical, avionics, and software teams
  • Select and optimize lightweight, high‑performance materials
  • Support system integration, maintenance procedures, and lifecycle reliability
  • Contribute to R&D efforts in autonomy, additive manufacturing, and advanced composites
  • Produce detailed design documentation, specifications, and test reports
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace and regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems
  • 2+ years working with unmanned aircraft, weapon systems, or similar platforms
  • Strong CAD experience (Solid Works or similar)
  • Proficiency with GD&T, DFM, tooling design
  • Experience with FEA, CFD, and simulation tools
  • Solid understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, structures, and aerodynamics
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes (including composites and 3D printing)
  • Knowledge of aerospace standards (e.g., DO‑160, AS9100) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
