Overview
Cummings Electrical is looking for a Project Manager for our Integrated Manufacturing department. As part of our team you will work hands‑on in a fast‑paced, innovative environment, helping reduce jobsite risks, accelerate project timelines, and deliver high‑quality solutions.
Responsibilities- Primary point of contact for customer, vendors, project team, and office support
- Owns single or multiple contracts, budgets, procurement matrices, schedules, and project execution
- Review and monitor project costs versus budgets for multiple projects and/or program level contracts ($50M+)
- Coordinate quality assurance / quality control with Quality Manager
- Interpret and ensure work is consistent with plans, specifications, and drawings
- Resolve inter‑group conflicts, project conflicts, and delays to meet project goals and milestones
- Coordinate with procurement/purchasing to expedite and receive needed material
- Serve as interface between IM Engineering team and internal clients (Production, Quality, Logistics, Safety)
- Assist with development of new electrical engineering standards and maintain existing standards and guidelines
- Lead project / program meetings and conference calls; participate in engineering, design, and constructability review processes
- Lead or assist with investigations, including root cause analysis
- Minimum 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry, focusing on commercial and industrial large construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Prior knowledge and understanding of the estimating process
- Exposure to ACCUBID and/or CONEST a plus
- Ability to understand, evaluate, and build complex project schedules utilizing MS Project
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite required (advanced Excel, MS Teams, SharePoint)
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills required
- Willing to travel outside of DFW/TX area a plus
