Manufacturing Design Engineer, DIRECT HIRE with salary up to $80K in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Our client seeks a hands‑on Manufacturing Design Engineer to join their growing Grand Prairie, Texas team. This role provides the opportunity to spearhead new product designs and fulfill client requirements while directly contributing to creating new products.

• Do you have hands‑on engineering technical experience, a minimum of 2 years of experience on the shop floor, the ability to identify efficient manufacturing processes with mechanical engineering and CAD and troubleshooting knowledge, and are local to the Grand Prairie, Texas area?

• Trade school or a four‑year degree in engineering combined with the experience and knowledge related to medium‑volume manufacturing is a plus!
• Must have experience using Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, or an equivalent CAD system.
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment and engineering skills to design and support manufacturing.
• Must strive to meet the design specifications developed through customer communications and joint efforts with cross‑functional departments.
• Provide the Assembly department with planned assembly areas with understandable, detailed, and accurate assembly documents to guide consistent and precise manufacturing of products.
• Must follow and understand ISO
  9001 procedures specific to work being completed.
• Must be computer literate and fluent using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office programs.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, well‑developed verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Strong data entry skills and good basic math skills.
