Controls and Automation Engineer

Multiple Controls roles all across the DFW Metroplex!

Traveling Position 30-40% to different job sites

Provide automation and control engineering support, along with on-site installation and start-up support for control system upgrades related to liquid and solid separation process equipment and systems.

• Provide engineering support for automation and control systems.
• Assist with on-site installation and start-up support for control system upgrades.
• Design and implement custom control systems for dewatering and thickening process equipment.

• Extensive knowledge of Allen-Bradley, electrical controls, sensors, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial equipment
• 3-6 years of experience in industrial process automation and control equipment and components.
• Experience with PLC systems, HMI units, rotating equipment drive systems, instrumentation, and control components.
• Proficiency in Rockwell PLC and HMI programming software.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Good troubleshooting skills for automation and control systems.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with industrial communication networks such as Modbus.
• Experience with industrial PLC, HMI, VFD products, and programming software.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with other PLC platforms is advantageous.

The role involves working with advanced technologies and equipment in a dynamic environment. Candidates should be comfortable working on-site for installation and start-up activities, with a focus on control system upgrades. The position may require troubleshooting in various industrial settings, demanding a good understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Arlington, TX.
