The candidate should be extroverted and passionate about financial planning and wealth management, and be interested in obtaining (or already have) the CFP designation. The FA must possess excellent communication skills combined with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The FA will collaborate across departments in order to effectively manage client relationships. The FA will be collecting and analyzing information regarding the customer’s income, assets and investments;
determining which financial products best meet the customer’s needs and financial circumstances; and advising the customer regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different products. The ideal candidate has several years of client-facing or associate advisor experience and is ready to take on more responsibility — helping lead client relationships, provide holistic financial planning, and contribute to business development. This full-time job requires office presence 5 days a week.
- Serve as a primary or secondary advisor for a select group of client relationships.
- Develop and present financial plans covering investments, retirement, tax, insurance, and estate considerations.
- Collaborate with senior advisors to design strategies and manage portfolios aligned with client goals.
- Participate in new business development, including nurturing referrals and supporting marketing/outreach efforts.
- Maintain high fiduciary and ethical standards consistent with firm values.
- 3–7 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or advisory roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
- CFP® or progress toward CFP® strongly preferred;
Series 65/66 or equivalent licensing required (or obtainable within 90 days). - Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Commitment to client-centric, fiduciary-focused advice.
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity working with financial software and CRM applications preferred.
