• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Exceptional guest service skills: understanding guest needs, providing quality consultations, and performing requested services efficiently and professionally
• Administrative duties: completing transactions on the computerized register, performing close‑out procedures, and light housekeeping duties

• Standing for sustained periods
• Frequent lifting up to 10 lb, occasionally up to 25 lb
• Continuous repetitive movement with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms
• Continuous grasping and reaching, often above shoulder level
• Exposure to chemicals and fragrances used in services
• Close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus when observing a guest’s hair
• Communication with guests regarding services offered and guest needs and wants
