Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in respiratory care across all age groups and skilled in performing a variety of respiratory tests. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to educate patients and families, and proficiency with respiratory equipment and electronic health records, such as EPIC.

• Provide respiratory care utilizing a wide range of respiratory therapy equipment
• Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and prescribed medications
• Perform diagnostic testing including Pulmonary Function Tests, Stress Tests, and EKGs
• Deliver compassionate care to patients of all age groups
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EPIC system

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with a variety of respiratory therapy equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with patients across the lifespan
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

• Experience in an acute care or clinical setting
• Proficiency in patient and family education regarding respiratory health and treatment

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Must hold an active license in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
