CT Technologist

The technologistconducts procedures to provide data toassistin the diagnosis of patients. The position's tasks and responsibilities include:

• Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in the performance of CT scans assessment and reassessment and implementation of the patient's ordersin accordance withthe department and organizational standards and policies
• Completes patient documentation specific to CT scans
• Assist Physicians and Radiologist during procedures.
• Performs CT scans ina timelyand efficient manner.
• Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
• Completes appropriate documentation for each study performed
• Performs all computer and PACS functions
• Observes safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocol sin order toensure the highest quality procedures
• Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs ofpatientin performance of duties and responsibilities.

What qualifications you will need:

Technical degree or vocational training

Prefer at least 1 year of CT experience

• ARRT(R) or ARRT (N)(CT)
• MRT
• BLS obtained by HCA approved vendor.
