This opportunity is ideal for a dynamic and hands on Employee Relations leader who thrives in a standalone role and enjoys being a strategic partner to the business. The majority of this position centers on driving employee relations initiatives and conducting complex workplace investigations at the corporate level, as well as primarily supporting a newly onboarded AI-sector client.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters across branch locations
- Lead and manage investigations, employee relations cases, and sensitive workplace issues
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, workplace standards, and organizational policies
- Support branch leadership with guidance on legalities, off-boarding, disciplinary actions, and case handling
- Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to managers navigating hiring, team restructuring, performance concerns, and workforce best practices
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment on compliance, risk mitigation, and people strategy
- Contribute to additional corporate-level business initiatives (approximately 30% of role)
- Extensive experience in employee relations and workplace investigations
- Strong working knowledge of multi-state employment practices and compliance
- Ability to operate independently and confidently as a standalone manager
- Exceptional judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Workplace Compliance or similar certification strongly preferred
