About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ERP Administrator to join our client’s IT team. This role is responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of ERP systems across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of ERP capabilities—particularly Epicor Prophet 21
—and apply them to improve business processes, support integrations, and deliver solutions that drive organizational efficiency.
The ERP Administrator will serve as the primary technical resource for ERP-related projects and the final point of escalation for ERP support. This is a highly visible role that works closely with stakeholders, end users, and IT leadership to ensure ERP systems align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain ERP systems to ensure stability, performance, and reliability.
- Manage and support ERP-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.
- Act as subject matter expert on ERP during IT initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Develop, extend, and maintain ERP business logic and workflows.
- Support and maintain ERP integrations (EDI and other connected systems).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for ERP-related issues.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and customizations.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in ERP administration or similar IT role.
- Hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (required).
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technology stack (Windows OS, Azure, Office 365).
- Experience with ECI Job Boss ERP is a plus but not required.

Work Environment & Additional Details
- Location:
Dallas, TX (Hybrid; Remote possible for the right candidate). - Direct hire, no sponsorship offered at this time.
- Occasional travel and after-hours support may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
