- Over all 7 + years of IT applications development and support experience
- 3-5 years of managerial experience managing at least 5 direct reports
- 5+ years' experience in implementing and supporting one or more ERP applications of Financials, SCM, EPM, Fixed Assets, and Analytics
- 5 + years of technical support experience with 2 or more ERP system areas such as OIC, OTBI, architecture, SQL, enhancements, reports, integrations & API calls, application architecture, data conversion, security, releases, and testing
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities, delivery, and process-oriented mindset
- Keen on service delivery, team engagement, collaborating with business users, and finding and fulfilling gaps for a smoother support model
- Experience in working with Oracle support, external vendors, and system integrators (SI)
- SDLC and change management focused, ensuring system integrity and IT audit requirements
- Ability to research and recommend innovative technology trends, and act as a change leader
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Financials and EPM ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle EBS, People Soft, JD Edwards
- Techno-functional knowledge and support with ERP system
- Implementation knowledge will be great
- Project management skills and managerial experience would be ideal
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Manager, Finance Systems to join a major nonprofit organization in the DFW area. This role will lead and support finance applications currently undergoing transformation. We’re looking for a hands‑on leader with expertise in IT and finance systems who can oversee ongoing support and implementations while driving collaboration across IT, business, and vendor teams. The Manager will be responsible for the implementation, support, and delivery of applications related to Finance, EPM, SCM, Analytics, Reporting, and other related systems.
This includes establishing and maintaining IT and ERP standards and best practices.
- Lead a team of technical and systems analysts
- Oversee administration and operations for the finance applications track
- Develop and maintain a financial systems roadmap aligned with business goals and technology strategies
- Partner with business leaders to identify needs, drive improvements, and implement scalable solutions
- Ensure operational excellence, system reliability, and timely resolution—especially during critical financial close cycles
- Maintain application integrity, architecture standards, and documentation for compliance and audit readiness
- Manage release and deployment processes
- Lead vendor selection, RFPs, contract negotiations, and implementation initiatives
- Build and develop a high‑performing team through coaching, training, and retention strategies
- Provide hands‑on technical and functional leadership, stepping in as needed to solve complex problems
- Maintain system configurations, ensure technical currency, and enforce SDLC best practices
- Collaborate with senior leadership and maintain transparency
