Maximus is looking for a Senior Cloud Product Manager to join its team in Arlington, VA. As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering products and services that enable users across the Services, Agencies, and Fourth Estate to securely communicate and collaborate. Job is on-site, five days a week and requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Product Vision and Strategy:
    Define and execute product vision and roadmap for AWS-based services, virtual desktops, and cloud applications, aligning with agency goals and user needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers and engineers to deliver high-impact cloud solutions using agile methodologies.
  • Feature Prioritization:
    Prioritize cloud features and enhancements based on customer feedback, compliance requirements, and technical feasibility.
  • Backlog and Sprint Management:
    Manage product backlogs and sprint planning, ensuring that development teams are working on the highest-priority features and that product increments are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Evangelize products internally and externally, building relationships with stakeholders, customers, and partners to gather feedback and ensure alignment with their needs and expectations.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
    Use cloud monitoring tools and analytics to assess product performance, identify improvement areas, and enhance user experience.
  • Technical Oversight:
    Understand the functionality and interoperability of various cloud components, security monitoring tools, and CI/CD automation tools.
  • Knowledge Coordination:
    Coordinate with internal agencies and external communities to identify knowledge gaps, design development plans, and execute technical projects.
  • Test Support:
    Support test planning, review, and execution efforts to measure and verify system performance and capabilities.
  • Coordination:
    Coordinate activities with IT portfolio managers, policy leads, resource managers, and program managers.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Document cloud architecture decisions, product updates, and project statuses for leadership and compliance reviews.
  • Contingency Planning:
    Assist the PMO leadership in contingency operations planning.
  • Documentation:
    With engineer assistance, review/approve applicable documentation needed to approve the new functionality for use in a production environment.
  • Security Approval:
    Understand system security requirements and facilitate the security approval process.
  • Agile Facilitation:
    Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of cloud features.
  • Government Acceptance:
    Develop acceptance criteria and facilitate demos to ensure cloud solutions meet government expectations.
  • Additional Duties:
    Perform other duties as assigned/requested by PMO leadership.
Minimum Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Program/Project Management, Information Systems, Business Management, or another related field
  • 7 years of experience in product management and/or project management, with a focus on systems engineering and software development life cycles.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and working with government stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture
  • Experience with virtual desktop environments (e.g., Citrix, Amazon Work Spaces)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and FedRAMP compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with SharePoint for reporting and collaboration
Preferred

Skills & Qualifications
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent
  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (PO/PM) Certification
  • PMP or other project management certification
  • The ability to adapt in fast paced environments, comfort with ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, security practices, and agile methodologies.
