Work location:
Texas Health Resources, 612
E. Lamar Blvd, Arlington, Texas 76011. Primarily remote but you must live in Texas or be willing to relocate.
Work hours:
Full Time (Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm) for 40 hrs/week.

- SCC Soft Lab experience needed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, clinical discipline, or related field (Preferred)
- 4 years of relevant work experience with no degree (Required)
- 2 years of relevant experience with an Associate’s degree (Required)
- 1 year of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Required)
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory workflows; experience with laboratory IT systems (LIS / Lab Information Systems); certified Medical Technologist (Med Tech); and/or prior experience with Soft Lab (Highly Preferred)
- HL7 and interface setup/configuration (Preferred)
The Applications Systems Analyst II is responsible for design, build, test, implementation, and ongoing maintenance and support of applications and related information technologies.
This role may provide consulting services on integrating information technologies into clinical and business processes and applying industry and organizational technology standards.
- Build applications to meet user requirements for new and optimized workflows in designated systems.
- Quality‑control all application implementations/enhancements before release and provide ongoing maintenance and support as required by the application life cycle. May include on‑site and virtual support of clinical and nonclinical staff at Texas Health locations.
- Diagnose failures in application software and related technologies. Participate in resolving problems and issues associated with installed applications and IT.
- Communicate with customers, project teams, and vendors, ensuring secure and stable architectures and timely delivery of business and clinical requirements.
- Maintain awareness of vendor and industry developments in the area of responsibility; communicate and document all relevant items and activities.
