The Commercial Property and Casualty division underwrites small and middle‑market accounts, as well as program business, through its specialized teams. We offer General Liability, Automobile, Property, Umbrella, and related coverage nationwide. Products are currently written on an E&S basis, with plans to introduce an admitted offering in the future. Coverage may be written on a monoline basis or as a package.

A Commercial Underwriter will be an integral part of the Commercial P&C team, reporting to the Commercial Underwriting Leader. This position is based in our Arlington, TX office. They will underwrite all coverages and classes we offer, and in the future able to mix admitted and non‑admitted products. This position will work closely with our appointed agents to establish relationships, solicit submissions, underwrite new business, and more technical transactions.
Performance will be primarily measured by new business, profitability, and agency management.
A Commercial Underwriter will have an array of resources to be successful, enabling them to focus on the key tasks that deliver results. A pre‑ and post‑bind team will handle most service‑related transactions. The national sales team will assist in identifying and appointing new agents and provide insights during the agency review process. Our technology and workflow will deliver an optimized underwriting process and minimize manual entry through automation and integration.
Qualifications- We are seeking candidates for multiple roles, requiring approximately 5 to 20+ years of multi‑line commercial underwriting experience. Titles will be commensurate with experience and future expectations.
