Senior Labor and Employment Attorney

Wick Phillips is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Labor & Employment Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with partners and associates, providing top‑tier legal representation, as well as advisory and counseling services to a broad range of clients. • Collaborate with Firm attorneys on various client matters, and manage your own litigation docket, serving as first‑chair in employment disputes in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.
• Oversee and manage full cycle of matters, including any associates staffed on the matter.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and vendors.
• Uphold and embody the firm’s core values in all professional activities.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
• 8+ years of relevant experience within the area of labor & employment law.
• Preference for a candidate with a book of portable business.
• Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Stellar interpersonal and active listening skills.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
• Exceptional time management, follow‑through, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Experience using legal software and tools, including Westlaw/Practical Law, iManage, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
