Position: Project Manager
Experience Required: 5+ Years | Focus: College Campus Projects (Ground-up)
Salary Range: $120K - $160K (Based on Experience)
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Commercial General Contracting (GC) and proven expertise managing Higher Education construction projects (college and university campuses). The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of project management experience in Dallas and a track record of delivering complex educational facilities on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all phases of college campus construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and subcontractors with full accountability.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, owners, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Oversee field operations to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with specifications.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with higher education clients and stakeholders.
- Anticipate project risks, resolve issues proactively, and ensure projects meet client expectations.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial ground-up construction, specifically in Higher Education (college campus projects).
- Proven background with a Commercial General Contractor (GC).
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-relations skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
