Job Description

We are in search of a Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for training and development of warehouse staff, efficiency of warehouse operations and overall divisional warehouse functions.

Responsibilities Include:

* Responsible for recommendations and execution of procedures involving shipping, receiving, inventory and all aspects of warehouse procedures, including communication with purchasing and sales

* Support and enforce safety programs and guidelines

* Select, train, direct and motivate employees

* Appraise performance and recommend salary actions

* Direct day and night warehouse crew and delivery drivers through Lead personnel

* Schedule and insure accurate receiving and put away of stock

* Insure delivery trucks are safely and accurately loaded

* Insure drivers demonstrate outstanding customer service and safe working and driving habits

* Insure all DPT rules and regulations are strictly enforced

* Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions in warehouse, including safe storage of hazardous products

* Additional duties or special projects as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Prior management experience (distribution and warehouse environment preferred)

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills

* Strong analytical skills with a good to excellent proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel

* Ability to multi-task

* Bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required
