Production Supervisor 3rd Shift – Avancez LLC

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop Team Leaders.
  • Coach and guide Team Members to achieve company goals and maintain a world‑class facility.
  • Ensure all attendance entries in the Timekeeping System are completed for accurate payroll.
  • Maintain communication with the Operations Manager on all critical matters.
  • Maintain good communication and relationships with other lead managers; attend regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Drive accountability to housekeeping guidelines.
  • Monitor Hilo damage and hold staff accountable for negligence.
  • Sustain company culture, encouraging quality, safety, efficiency, and cost‑improvement suggestions.
  • Understand company processes and follow up on corrective action files, incident investigations, FIFO, Min/Max, etc., ensuring all processes are adhered to.
  • Act as a leader in problem‑solving analysis, developing irreversible corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Maintain respect from peers, sequencers, Hilo Drivers, etc., and promote a positive morale across teams.
  • Ensure safety rules are followed and enforced (PPE, safety glasses, stack heights, battery change, dock locks).
  • Provide a flexible work schedule to cover vacations or overtime when required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma.
  • Minimum 2+ years working in the automotive industry and/or leading teams.
Travel
  • Travel required:

    minimum.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to use the OSR/HMI to make decisions meeting customer expectations and delivery requirements.
  • Ability to establish a positive, proactive relationship with the Union.
  • Ability to identify problem situations and seek help before an emergency.
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback.
  • Ability to drive accountability with the workforce.
  • Familiarity with GM–FTA expectations and resolution of problems with Penske, LLP and FTA.
  • Acts as an independent leader and also transitions to a team player when needed.
  • Ability to work in a rapid‑paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with and lead people.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on company and customer goals.
  • Exceptional people skills.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Effective communication both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to resolve problems using company values.
  • Excellent attendance record (punctuality).
  • Sense of urgency when dealing with liaisons, hot shots, etc.
