What will you do?- Setup and operate CNC Lathe machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeder, live tooling.
- Optimize setup times and maximize machine utilization.
- Ability to run CNC vertical mills/robo drills.
- Read and understand specifications from blueprints and route instructions.
- Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Troubleshoot programs and make adjustments as needed.
- Set up CNC lathe machines to complete full cycles to produce a high and low volume of parts; maintain offsets and inspect parts with a high degree of precision.
- Follow in-process inspection and notify Supervisor/Lead of non-conformances.
- Communicate with supervisors, managers, production control, and quality personnel to resolve quality issues.
- Document issues to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.
- Check and perform preventive maintenance daily.

Key Competencies- Knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, gauges) to ensure quality.
- Proficient math skills and the ability to document machining procedures.
- Knowledge of metals, part holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling.
- Experience with Okuma, Mazak, Mori lathe machines preferred.
- Basic English reading/comprehension for instructions and logs.
- Physical ability to handle heavy items; able to lift, push, pull, and position components.
- Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with company policies; consistently stand for an entire shift.
- Strong machining knowledge and general mechanical aptitude; willingness to be trained and learn.
- Ability to work in a team setting with good work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Education:
Required – High School or equivalent - Experience:
Preferred – Five years of CNC Lathe setup, programming, and operating
1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Reporting to the Arlington, TX branch is required to perform essential duties.
