We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and coordinate the maintenance functions within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to oversee facility and equipment performance, drive preventive maintenance programs, and lead safety initiatives while supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all plant maintenance activities to ensure machine and equipment reliability.
- Manage the maintenance work order system, assigning and tracking tasks to completion.
- Perform and supervise facility maintenance including power, water, air, materials handling, and building upkeep.
- Request and manage tools, equipment, and supplies to support operations.
- Conduct monthly safety walk-throughs with the leadership team and enforce safety protocols.
- Monitor predictive and preventive maintenance schedules and adjust as needed to maximize uptime.
- Provide training on Lockout/Tagout, crane operation, confined space safety, and scissor lift use.
- Review production, quality, and maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Inspect operating machinery to ensure conformance with operational and safety standards.
- Participate in new product planning to assess equipment needs and modifications.
- Generate purchase orders and manage RFQ processes as needed.
- Maintain company vehicles, including powered industrial trucks.
- Collaborate with leadership on continuous improvement projects and problem-solving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and at least 2 years of related experience in manufacturing maintenance management.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to work within a network environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to apply production metrics, rates, and cycle times to maintenance planning.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with moderate bending, twisting, and walking required.
- Flexibility to work overtime during the week or on weekends as needed.
