- Perform a variety of non‑routine and non‑repetitive production assembly operations on electronic assemblies, mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including cable assemblies/wiring harnesses.
- Work with common hand and/or power tools, jigs, saws and other manufacturing equipment.
- Determine methods and sequences of assembly/integration operations where complete information may not be readily available.
- Use engineering sketches, diagrams, schematics and drawings to guide work.
- Fabricate, assemble, modify and rework subassemblies and assemblies, and integrate system hardware.
- Participate in device teardown, removal or site installation, which may require overseas travel for up to six–eight weeks.
- Shift work may be required at various times, including swing, second and third shift, and working overtime as required.
- Use Microsoft Office Word and Excel to close Manufacturing Order (MO) routing steps and generate Nonconforming Material Reports.
- Assist in collecting data for Engineering Change Requests on issues discovered during assembly.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 3‑5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical assembly and subassembly work.
- Knowledgeable with engineering sketches, diagrams, schematics and drawings.
- Experienced with common hand and/or power tools, jigs and saws.
- Team‑first/teamwork attitude.
- Current passport desired and required for overseas travel.
- Able to work for long periods standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 40‑50 lbs without restriction.
- Possession of a current DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one without concern.
- Full‑time availability, with possible part‑time schedule and overtime as needed.
