Salary Range: $15.00 To $17.00 Hourly

The assistant cutting (Jogger) operator assists the lead in set up, adjustment and safe operation of all cutting equipment to prepare product to be packed, collated, or bound, ensuring the meeting of customer specifications, in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Assistant Cutter is also responsible for ensuring a safe and constant flow of accurately jogged and measured paper sheets from jogging stations to the cutting section.

2nd shift , Monday - Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM, or similar. Training may occur at other times.

$15-$17 Hourly. Compensation commensurate with experience.

• Weigh and jog paper in preparation for cutting
• Maintain a constant flow of product to the cutting section cutters
• Liaise and work closely with cutter operators using professional communication and judgment
• Arrange incoming batches to ensure an efficient workflow
• Maintain and update the cutting log
• Change out and move waste product and recycle receptacles in the cutting areas
• Support other co-workers as required
• Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, and/or near misses to management immediately
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and is free of safety hazards
• Report workplace hazards to management immediately
• Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
• Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, and/or near misses to management immediately
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
• Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)
• Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Attend all department/company meetings
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency
• Six months – one year of related experience with Polar or Saber cutting machines in a manufacturing environment

• Problem-Solving and Adaptability:
  Strong problem-solving skills when faced with unexpected challenges, such as machine malfunctions, material shortages, or errors in print quality. Ability to adapt to new printing technologies or changes in production schedules, ensuring smooth operations despite changes.
• Time Management & Efficiency:
  Ability to manage multiple print jobs simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality. Organizing workflows, preparing materials in advance, and optimizing print runs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Attention to Detail:
