Lathe Operator

Role Overview
JM Fab is seeking a Lathe Operator to produce precision turned components for aerospace and defense customers to drawing and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run lathe operations per traveler and drawing.
- Hold tight tolerances on diameters, threads, bores, and finishes.
- Inspect parts with micrometers, bore gauges, thread gauges, and indicators.
- Complete in-process inspection and traveler documentation.
- Maintain tooling and equipment and keep the work area clean.
- Escalate dimensional or setup issues promptly.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of lathe experience in a precision machine shop (preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
- Aerospace or defense experience (preferred).
Physical Requirements
Stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
