Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Shift Lead.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide supervision of shop employees and coordinate activities to ensure quality products for customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare production schedules.
Schedule employee workload.
Ensure products are shipped on time.
Ensure safe working environment and clean work area.
Review and revise documents.
Order supplies when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Ensure proper training of production personnel.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Supervisory experience required with multiple shift responsibility.
Basic mathematical skills.
Good communication skills.
Experience in production or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of weights and measures conversions.

Strong organization skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Some physical activities such as lifting, bending, carrying, and pushing/pulling may be required.
Prolonged standing.
Lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and 20 pounds occasionally.
