This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented RBS Technician (Continuous Improvement Technician) to join our operations team. Reporting directly to the RBS Manager, you will be the hands‑on force driving the physical implementation of the Regal Business System (RBS) on our production floor. In this role, you won't just analyze data from a desk; you will actively transform the workplace. You will physically build modular workstations, lay down 5S floor tape, install visual management aids, and clear out waste to ensure our operators can work safely and efficiently.

Construct and mount visual aids such as tool shadow boards, Kanban boards, and safety signage to support daily tier management and walk cadences. - Support Material Flow & Kitting:
Set up point‑of‑use storage and material racks so operators have the exact tools and components they need right at their fingertips, reducing motion waste. - Champion Floor Safety & Waste Elimination:
Participate in Gemba walks to identify physical hazards and process waste. Physically clear out clutter, obsolete materials, and safety hazards to maintain a pristine manufacturing environment. - Kaizen Event Support:
Provide hands‑on assembly and teardown support during rapid improvement workshops and Kaizen events.
- Experience:
1+ years of experience in general labor, manufacturing assembly, warehouse operations, or basic carpentry/mechanical setup. - Tool Proficiency:
Confident using basic hand and power tools (cordless drills, tape measures, wrenches, levels, and small saws). - Detail & Layout
Skills:
Ability to read simple design sketches, blueprints, or layout dimensions to tape floors and build tables accurately. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods on a concrete shop floor, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. - Mindset:
Strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a "passion to win" when it comes to workplace efficiency and safety. - Preferred:
Prior exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma concepts, or structured business operating systems.
