The Paid Search Team Lead is responsible for mentoring a team of Pay Per Click specialists while also managing a small book of business of their own. This person works well with other departments and helps find solutions for complex situations.
KeyFunctional Area
s of Responsibility
- Plan and execute online paid search campaigns, including implementation, optimization, and analysis.
- Analyze campaign dashboards and key reporting tools and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals.
- Cooperate with internal teams on expectations, campaign development, results, and optimizations.
- Mentor and support junior‑level Paid Search Analysts through training, feedback, and performance development, helping grow team capabilities and best practices.
- Resolve internal conflicts, both within the team and across departments.
- Support the sales team by providing strategies prospective clients can understand with deliverables that the team can confidently achieve.
- Assist the account management team by offering new insights and recommendations based on data and client feedback.
- Serve as the subject matter expert directly on calls to prospects and clients.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to make on data‑driven decisions.
- Outstanding ability to think creatively and identify and resolve problems.
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi‑task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
- Ability to clearly and effectively articulate recommendations and ideas.
- Ready to learn new industries and new business types quickly and can apply this knowledge to internet marketing initiatives and achieving client goals.

Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in successfully managing SEM/Paid Search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
- Proficient with MS Excel functions like INDEX and MATCH.
- Comfortable talking to clients and giving recommendations based on their goals.
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics and GA4.
- Certifications in Google Search and Microsoft Ads preferred.
