Overview
Texas Oncology is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) for its Southwest Fort Worth, TX location. This full‑time Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. role has no weekends, on‑call, or major holiday requirements.

What does the Nurse Supervisor do?Coordinates all nursing functions and patient care activities, ensuring adherence to national and company standards while managing staffing and budgetary constraints.
Responsibilities- Clinical Oversight: oversee clinical operations for all nursing support activities.
- Ensure adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics and maintain operating costs within budget.
- Maintain nursing coverage and align clinical practices with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures.
- Staff Development: coordinate, implement, and assist with staff training, in‑services, and internal developmental programs.
- Assist in annual performance evaluations for nursing department staff.
- Serve as mentor/preceptor, providing day‑to‑day guidance to less experienced nurses.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN or MSN preferred.
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
- Minimum five years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least three years in oncology.
- One year of leadership experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current or pending oncology certification preferred.

Physical RequirementsLarge percentage of time performing computer‑based work. Requires full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods, and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
