OverviewOccupational Health Registered Nurse needed for 2nd shift, full-time contract opportunity with Yoh’s well-known manufacturing client located in Arlington, TX. Provide emergency care, first‑aid and episodic treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses within standing orders. This position requires knowledge of prevention of illness & injury, protection from work‑related and environmental hazards, and promotion and restoration of health. RN will maintain accurate records related to OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, and corporate reporting.
TopSkills You Should Possess
- Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Nurse in an Occupational Health, Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Corrections, School Nursing, and/or Family Practice type setting
- Flexible, adaptable, reliable, friendly, and helpful employee
- High level of initiative and sound independent judgment
- Assessment, triage, treatment, and education for sick or injured employees
- Promote wellness/wellbeing initiatives at the site
- Provide medical testing such as: drug screens, vision testing, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, and perform limited interpretation of tests
- Interface with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner
- Charting/documentation of care using EMR system (Cority)
- Assist plant physician in minor surgical procedures
- Respond to medical emergencies on the campus, as needed
- Consistently work Monday‑Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
- Current BLS
- Computer skills with previous experience using EMR (Cority experience a plus!)
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
