RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 5 days per week with 8-10 hour shifts (36-40 hours per week)

• Shift hours: 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM

• No call, weekends, or holidays required

• Work in surgical environment with 6 operating rooms and 5 procedure/GI rooms

• Patient ratios: 2:1 in PACU, 1:1 in Pre Op

• Must have BLS and ACLS certifications for RNs

• Active nursing certification/licensure required

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and identification skills required

• Must demonstrate attention to detail in fast-paced environment

• Team player mentality and professional demeanor required

• GI experience with Provation preferred

• Dress code:
Black scrubs for Pre Op/PACU staff; center-provided blue scrubs for OR staff

• Work with typical procedures including GI (EGD/Colons), orthopedic (including total joints), general surgery, podiatry, GYN, urology, and pain cases

• Must be helpful, professional, and service-oriented

Facility:

This outpatient surgery center is a free-standing facility featuring 28 beds including 14 Pre Op, 14 PACU, 6 operating rooms, and 5 procedure/GI rooms. The center specializes in multiple service lines and maintains a team of 55+ staff members including Pre Op RNs, PACU RNs, PACU PCTs, GI RNs, GI techs, CSTs, OR RNs, and X-ray techs. The facility focuses on providing comprehensive surgical services in an efficient, patient-centered environment.
