The RN in our Mother-Baby Unit provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. In collaboration with patient, patient’s family, and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN is responsible for assessing the nursing care needs of patients, planning interventions and evaluating outcomes of care. The RN provides direct care and/or supervises nursing care of non-licensed nursing staff.

The RN Mother Baby Nurse is responsible for providing care consistent with the Nursing Department’s policies, procedures and standards of practice.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse TX License ( TX or Compact)
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• 1 Year min in Mother Baby Required
• 2+ year's in Mother Baby Preferred
