RN Operating Room – Medical City Arlington

Shift: Full‑Time, Days

Sign‑on bonus up to $30,000 may be available.

Position Summary:

RN in Operating Room, full‑time days in a 435‑bed hospital.

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery and provide peri‑operative education.
• Assume responsibility for patient preparation, including IV therapy, pre‑meds, and surgical site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
• Collaborate as an integral member of the interdisciplinary OR team.
• Apply nursing process, critical thinking, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor, document changes, and educate patients and families.

• Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start.
• Experience in Surgical Services preferred.
