Pay: $84,843.20 – $ (Based on years of experience)

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Relocation Assistance: Case by case

Shift: Mixed (Rotating Weekends)

• Assure delivery of professional nursing care within the Operating Room by assessing, planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing care for all surgery patients.

• Collaborate with the OR Educator on initial and ongoing department staff training.

• Assess department needs and develop staff accordingly.

• Develop goals, objectives, implementation methods, and evaluation measures.

• Develop, maintain, and interpret policies and procedures; uphold fiscal responsibility for the department.

• Implement professional nursing care for all patients.

• Act as liaison between OR staff, administration, medical staff, and other hospital departments.

• Complete performance appraisals in collaboration with clinical unit leadership.

• Participate in facility management team meetings.

• Work with director, administration, finance, and unit leadership on operating and capital budget processes.

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room acute care leadership experience.

• Minimum 5 years RN staff level operating room experience.

• Strong clinical knowledge in surgical nursing.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Current Texas RN license or compact state license required.

• Current Healthcare Provider BLS (AHA or Red Cross).

• CNOR preferred.
