Position: Infusion RN-Ft Worth, Tx

Overview

Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Infusion Department at our Ft Worth, TX location. This full‑time Monday‑Friday position (8:30 am‑5:00 pm) has no weekends, call, or major holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
  • Assess patient/family needs and provide instruction.
  • Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction.
  • Administer medications/blood products with correct dosage, route, time, and technique.
  • Obtain pre‑authorization and consent forms before therapy administration.
  • Facilitate dose modification by assessing labs, consulting protocol, calculating dose, and consulting physician.
  • Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
  • Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; accredited RN program required.
  • 0–3 years RN experience in infusion or oncology setting acceptable.
  • Current RN state license in practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior level candidates.

Physical Requirements

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods. Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
