It is a 435‑bed full‑service hospital located in south Arlington. Our services include heart & vascular, brain & spine emergency and trauma care. We have cancer care, orthopedics, surgical and women's services for our patients. Our women's complex has combined clinical excellence with thoughtful amenities including luxury maternity suites and personalized delivery methods. Our team consists of over 1400 full‑time and part‑time nurses, therapists, technicians and other healthcare colleagues. We are a leader in Dallas/Fort Worth healthcare with nearly 700 skilled physicians representing a wide variety of medical specialties. We are the official hospital of the Texas Rangers. As part of the Medical City network of hospitals and specialists, patients have access to advanced healthcare innovations across the network.
Maintains 24‑hour responsibility for the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit.
The Manager also coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit which support the safe and efficient delivery of care.
The Manager assists the Director in the implementation of performance improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures and in the financial management of the unit.
Requirements- 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience
- 3‑5 years of experience as a staff nurse in the operating room or other surgical area
- BSN required
- Prior management experience preferred or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership role
- Cardiovascular experience preferred
- TX RN License or RN Compact State License
- BLS from approved HCA vendor
- ACLS from approved HCA vendor (must be obtained within 6 months of hire if not currently held)
- PALS from approved HCA vendor (must be obtained within 6 months of hire if not currently held)
