Position Summary

We are looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Quality Project Manager. The role provides assistance in planning and verification for new and existing products through detailed analysis and evaluation of contracts, specifications, designs, and hardware.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide support for contract review and development of Quality Plans.
  • Provide support/review of purchase orders to ensure Quality requirements are specified in accordance with contract specifications and Quality Plan requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance on Quality System specification requirements, NDT, welding, material testing and inspection methods.
  • Review product designs, specifications, and test plans to ensure contractual design requirements are met.
  • Maintain awareness of industry (e.g., API, ISO, DNV) specification revisions and alert on the potential impact of revisions on products and OSI specifications.
  • Use computer programs, Word and Excel, to generate reports and analyze data from various sources.
  • Support the Quality Manager for calibration control and records.
  • Support Quality Control and Document Control activities and maintain quality control records.
  • Organize, index, collate, and file all quality control records including inspection reports, certifications, NCRs, test results, data books, and MIPs.
  • Ensure required training for Quality personnel is established, performed, documented, and maintained.
  • Ensure quality processes are developed, managed, and maintained.
  • Interpret codes, standards, and customer requirements as needed.
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and auditors as required.
  • Attend project kickoff and/or pre‑job meetings as required.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to qualify and manage suppliers during audits.
  • Ensure that all NCRs, CARs, and PARs are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Work with Contract Development/Sales groups during the bid phase to ensure compliance with all Quality‑related customer specifications.
  • Ensure personnel have access to the latest revisions and or editions of codes, standards, and documents affecting product quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 to 8 years’ combination of education and experience in Quality Management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and industry standards related to manufacturing in the oil and gas industry.
  • Background in molded products, welding, coating, machining, and NDE processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
