Company OverviewWe are a Medical Device company (Opto-Electronics). Currently seeking a QC/Electronics Inspector.
Position OverviewAs the main inspector, you will be responsible for conducting final quality inspections of all products prior to shipment. You will also handle customer return evaluations, performing root cause analysis (RCA), board-level diagnostics, and generating detailed reports for the engineering team. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail and a background in electronics.
Key Responsibilities Product Inspection (75%)- Perform detailed final inspections of electronics prior to shipment.
- Verify product functionality, cosmetic appearance, and conformance to specifications.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address any discrepancies or quality issues.
- Assist in refining inspection protocols and checklists.
- Evaluate returned products (RMA) to determine root cause of failure.
- Perform board-level testing and fault isolation.
- Collaborate with engineers to provide clear and thorough RCA reports.
- Document findings and repair work in service logs.
- Perform repairs as needed based on findings and capabilities.
- 3+ years of experience in electronics inspection, testing, or repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering documentation.
- Strong soldering and rework skills at the component level (SMT and through‑hole).
- Proficient in using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or high‑end consumer electronics.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 or other quality management systems.
- Experience with ERP or RMA tracking systems.
