Primary Purpose

Support the quality control process by conducting detailed inspections to prevent the infiltration of counterfeit electronic components. This position requires advanced technical proficiency, rigorous attention to quality standards, and strict adherence to ESD protocols and safety regulations related to X‑ray equipment and chemical solvents.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of electronic components using specialized equipment including microscopes, X‑ray imaging systems, XRF analyzers, TMDE equipment, digital multimeters, and precision measurement tools.
  • Ensure strict compliance with quality standards including IDEA‑1010B, AS9120, AS6081, ISO
    9001, and ANSI/ESD S20.20.
  • Maintain ESD‑safe practices, including proper grounding, wrist straps, ionization, and handling of sensitive components in accordance with S20.20 requirements.
  • Operate and work safely around X‑ray inspection systems and chemical solvents, adhering to all applicable radiation safety and chemical handling protocols.
  • Utilize CRM and digital record‑keeping tools to document inspection results, inventory counts, and product traceability in a clear and auditable format.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions precisely to ensure consistency and reliability of inspection processes.
  • Review part datasheets, schematics, and blueprints to verify component authenticity, function, and compliance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on enhancing process speed, inspection accuracy, and standards compliance.
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in received and stored product.
  • Support additional quality‑related duties and departmental needs as required.

Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in electronics quality control with an emphasis on counterfeit prevention.
  • Experience operating bench‑level testing and inspection tools in an electronics environment.
  • Working knowledge of X‑ray safety, chemical handling protocols, and ESD protection.
  • Ability to read and analyze datasheets, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; CRM system preferred.
  • Some college preferred; technical or engineering coursework or degree is a plus.
  • Fluency in English required;
    Mandarin proficiency is a strong asset.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
Work Schedule & Environment

Standard work schedule: 5 days per week, morning shift.
Work takes place in a dedicated ESD‑safe quality control laboratory.
Tasks may involve extended time on foot and close work with sensitive electronics and testing equipment.
Potential for occasional extended hours or holiday shifts based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, or remain stationary for up to 8 hours during shift operations.
Able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds safely.
Ability to perform physical motions including bending, reaching, crouching, and fine‑motor tasks.
Manual dexterity for handling small tools and components with precision.
Normal‑range vision and hearing, with or without correction.
Verbal communication skills are necessary to interact with team members and leadership.
