Position Title(s): Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team; foster a positive work environment; set clear goals and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance. - Customer
Experience:
Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and maintaining high service standards. - Sales & Performance:
Drive store sales and profitability through merchandise management, promotions, and achieving sales targets. - Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily operations, including inventory, visual merchandising, and store maintenance; ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations. - Financial Management:
Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance. - Marketing & Community Engagement:
Implement local marketing initiatives and build relationships with the community. - Innovation & Problem-Solving:
Stay current with industry trends and identify opportunities for improvement. - Additional duties and projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team. - Leadership
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Customer-Centric:
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service. - Analytical
Skills:
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions. - Flexibility:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. - Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Assistant Store Manager: Open availability including mornings, days, and nights; minimum 5-day work week; peak periods may require longer hours.
- Supervisor: Availability to open/close; minimum 5 days of availability; minimum 30-hour work week.
- All Management:
Availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance; reliable transportation; clear English communication; ability to read/write English and perform business-related mathematics; may require transfer within the company based on operational needs and career growth.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged standing (approximately 5 to 14 hours per day).
- Long hours during peak sale periods.
- Stooping, kneeling, reaching, and pulling to stock merchandise.
- Climbing ladders or stairs to stock or retrieve merchandise.
- Lift items weighing 5–25 lbs regularly (weights may be higher in some situations).
- Good vision, including color differentiation; moderately noisy retail environment.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years of retail leadership preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
