Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals, booking new catering business, and detailing events. The role involves working with the operations team to execute group, meeting, and social event business, developing strategic plans to maximize revenue, and working with clients to form Banquet Event Orders.

• Work with outside catering companies and local vendors
• Log all sales related activity in the sales software system

• Previous sales experience in catering
• preferably for hotels
• Knowledge of CI/TY and Marriott systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Word
• Office
• Internet Explorer/Google Chrome

$70k to $75k year, plus quarterly bonus, Marriott hotel benefits and discounts

Must be flexible with work schedule, including working events, lobby duty, BEO meetings.
