As a Strategic Account Manager (SAM) focusing on internal sales engagement, you will work closely with the sales team to increase revenue amounts by driving internal alignment, facilitating effective communication, and ensuring that our sales strategies are well-executed for our key accounts. The SAM will play a key role in coordinating efforts and supporting the team in achieving their sales objectives and helping grow revenue of the Strategic Account Programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain weekly and monthly activity that will produce an outcome of a set specific revenue %growth
• Source for new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up and outbound calls and emails for key accounts when needed
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team members for further development and closure
• Research accounts on a regional/market level, and identify key decisions and engage interest

  Collaboration:
  
  Work with the sales team to align account strategies, objectives, and key actions. Facilitate communication and ensure smooth workflow between departments.
• Sales Support:
  Provide administrative and strategic support to the sales team, including preparing reports, analyzing data, and tracking performance metrics.
• Engagement Initiatives:
  Coordinate internal campaigns and initiatives to boost sales team engagement and motivation.
• Data Management:
  Maintain accurate records of sales activities, account information, and performance metrics.
• Ensures data integrity in CRM systems and other tools.
• Reporting:
  Prepare and present regular updates on sales performance, account status, and key insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• Ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
• Strong negotiation skills with problem solving abilities
• Availability to travel as needed

TRAINING:

• Annual harassment and security awareness training is required for all team members.
• Additional training may be required in accordance with your position and location. Should your position require access to Confidential Information, specific training may be required to ensure the security of such information.
