Key Account Manager
Trintech
Summary: Trintech is looking for a passionate, customer‑focused Account Manager with a proven record of expanding and retaining customer business through building trusted relationships and long‑term partnerships. Account Managers will engage with assigned accounts and nurture key relationships over time, striving to be a strategic partner to clients as they relate to financial transformation initiatives. They will work together with customers to discover new opportunities and collaborate for mutual benefit.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Exceed both expansion sales quota targets and revenue growth targets.
- Develop effective and specific account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and balanced growth, building relationships in new and existing customers to drive strategy through the organization.
- Be a trusted advisor by establishing positive relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and dedication to value.
- Understand each customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy, and competitive landscape; review public information to stay updated on key industry trends and issues affecting the customer.
- Lead account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles; develop relationships in all accounts to become advocates for Trintech.
- Maintain a rolling 4‑quarter pipeline and keep pipeline hygiene through proper CRM practices.
- Partner with Customer Success, Product, Support, Professional Services, and other teams (including partners and channels) to funnel pipeline into assigned accounts.
- Keep customers informed about the latest product releases and upgrade opportunities.
- Identify customer needs effectively, engaging technical resources as required.
- Own the renewal transaction process with customers to close renewals timely and effectively—meeting with renewals teams, negotiating with customers, discussing contract details, and maintaining opportunity notes in Salesforce.
- Coordinate product updates/upgrades on behalf of the customer.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience managing Fortune 500 accounts and/or selling into the offices of CFOs and/or CIOs.
- Experience using MEDDIC sales qualification (preferred).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, acting as a liaison with Sales, Legal, Professional Services, Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing.
- Strong understanding of office finance and financial systems as well as SaaS;
Trintech product knowledge or experience is strongly preferred. - Strong business acumen.
- Effective listening skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving, interpersonal, and conflict‑management skills.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred but not required.
