We seek an accomplished Sales Leader with a proven track record in identifying opportunities and successfully closing deals in professional services and cloud consulting.
About the roleThis position is a direct sales role for individuals who value responsibility and accountability. The successful candidate will be responsible for direct selling, building an initial pipeline, closing transactions, and contributing to the development of our market approach within the United States. This role focuses on sales execution rather than team leadership or account management. Should this opportunity prove successful, you will have the potential to build and lead the US sales team in the future.
Whatyou will do
- Take ownership of new business sales within the US market.
- Develop a robust pipeline through outbound efforts, strategic partnerships, and AWS co‑sell initiatives.
- Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to deal closure.
- Lead discovery sessions, solution discussions, pricing negotiations, and commercial terms.
- Collaborate closely with AWS and partner teams to drive mutual success.
- Coordinate effectively with solutions and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Contribute to refining the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), messaging, and sales strategy.
- Establish a scalable, repeatable sales process for ongoing growth.
- Establish a robust and capable pipeline within the first 60 days.
- Achieve the initial closed deal within 60 to 90 days.
- Maintain active collaboration with AWS and partner teams.
- Demonstrate clear responsibility for sales results in the US.
- Foster trust with both delivery and leadership teams.
- Over eight years of experience in selling professional services and consulting engagements
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales quotas
- Expertise in cloud technologies, data, AI, or modernization
- Proven ability working with AWS or other cloud partners
- Skilled at pipeline creation in addition to managing inbound opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and consistent follow‑through
- Willingness to operate within an early‑stage go‑to‑market environment
- Base salary in the $110k–$125k range
- High commission on closed revenue (On Target Earnings range: $180K to $240K uncapped)
