Emergency Vehicle Installer
Clay Cooley Auto Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Emergency Vehicle Installer to join our Arlington Installation Shop. We are looking for an experienced professional with strong mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Primary ResponsibilitiesAs an Emergency Vehicle Installer, your primary responsibilities include installing, repairing, testing, and removing 12-volt law enforcement vehicle equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, light bars, flashers, sirens, video cameras, laptops, printers, consoles, transport partitions, radios, speakers, antennas, and routers.

- Install light bars, push bumpers, consoles, speakers, cameras, laptops, antennas, and partitions.
- Route, splice, solder, and connect wiring for 12/24V systems, auxiliary power, and electronic components.
- Diagnose, repair, and service existing installations and vehicle systems.

Process completed within days of applying! - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in the following areas is preferred, but not required:- Installation of emergency lighting
- Vehicle wiring
- Identification of electrical circuits
- Certification:
Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) Certification is preferred but not required. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods; strong multitasking skills. - Attention to Detail:
Ability to work with or identify small components; good hearing and color vision are a must. - Communication
Skills:
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for explaining repair options. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with computers for record-keeping and diagnostic software use.
